Mixin’ it up: Konstruction

konstruction.jpgFuck you summer holiday! This was too good to keep until August. The Stockholm duo Konstruction is next up in our mix series:

This is the sound of Patrick Fiske and Hinke-B aka Konstruction. During the summer they are residents on the electronic floor at the summerclub Trädgården so if you are visiting Stockholm, check our website for dates.

01. Simian Mobile Disco – Hustler
We hope the Mobile Disco can stay off projects like the Arctic Monkeys, ’cause this is “The track” from the new Kitsuné compilation.

02. Kid Alex – Loverboy (Les Visiteurs Remix)
Wasn’t Les Visiteurs a flick with Jean Reno? We hope they’ll go medieval on our asses soon again anyway.

03. Krafty Kuts, Tim Deluxe – Bass Phenomenon (Jesse Rose Remix)
Tim Deluxe smelled 90′ish just untill now. We was’nt too impressed with the new album, but now it’s going places. But who’s Jesse?

04. Sebastien Legér – Hit Girl
When Legér finds the multiple melodies it resembles one of hinkes best birthdays. The one where he got his first videogame.

05. King Roc – The Tip (Tom Neville Remix)
Tom Neville is all the good things that awaits us. We originally thought that two years ago. We hate to be wrong.

06. Kris Menace – Jupiter
This is the sleaziest track of the tape. But it’s still one of the best electro-disco-buildups we’ve come across this year.

07. Remute – Please Say Something (Christopher Just Remix)
The raw power of the bass just says everything. And until Mr. Just makes annother dancer this will have to do.

08. The Knife – We Share Our Mothers Health (Trentemöller Remix)
We just love the collaboration between Denmark and Sweden. Karins vunerability and Trentemøllers quirkiness, a match made in heaven.

09. N.O.I.A – Strangers In A Strange Land (Franz & Shape remix)
The ‘Confused disco sampler’s on Mantra this spring has contained a lot of shit. This track makes everything allright. Franz/Shape should consider leaving the vocals out permanently.
