Arthur Russell is shit for dancefloors and DFA can’t help that.

What’s up next? The Arvo Pärt booty mixes?

Only his solo stuff, not the stuff he produced. That said, this song isn’t particularly great. It’s not DFA’s or Arthur Russell’s best.

Please post the mp3 again one again, I’ve been searching all over (including soulseek) and I can’t find it anywhere. It’s a great song, listned to it on the hype-machine.

Ed and Jonas: true true. He’s produced and co-produced some good ones. I just don’t get the guys (djs) who worship him.

I think it depends on what you’re exptect to get. Arthur Russell have made some real amazing music but it’s pretty easy to hear why he never got that big billboard-hit thay he was aiming for. Must of it is way out on the left side. But you don’t have to place all music in a pop/dance-context. It can be pretty amazing even if it don’t fit in those frames.
