why is the exclusive and new stuff edited out?

really rather disapointing to be honest – perhaps the situation demanded it, but i’ve heard a lot better live sets from diplo.

Undecided. Kind of seemed uneventful, but a nice recording to have nonetheless. Respect.

Captiv: It’s edited out for obvious reasons, Diplo and Scottie B will release the stuff later and i’m guessing MIAs label wouldn’t be too happy with the leak of her new songs.

yo! The bandwith went crazy so my host shut me down. The mix is now on Rapidshare via th link on http://www.therumble.se, check the “mixar” headline.
As for the MCing goin on it’s
1. diplo and scottie changing serato connection and thus speaking a bit during the scilence. this happens twice.
2. the mad love AND response sort of made it seem all natural. check the photos on the site, http://www.therumble.se/scottieb
3. i come on at one stage saying someting on the mic – no excuse really.
4. diplo edited out the new mia and I voiced over the Paul simon joint as Scottie is releasing it later
5. this is not one of your regular three weeks rehearsed home djmixes you download from Fatherboard. This is real live djing and interacting with some 700 people on the floor.

[...] Hells yeah! We’ve been waiting for this ever since we heard the new M.I.A. tracks at the Diplo & Scottie B gig in Malmö and we must say that it’s been worth the wait. Those more spoken than sung vocals with the horns and the handclaps, this straight up kills it! Thanks again, Diplo. [...]

that was mostly me talking,so i am sorry.glad u enjoyed the music part.u gotta remember one thing:listening to a live mix from a party while u are sitting isnt gonna sound the same as a pre recorded home mix,the same way u would know that a dj was playing a prerecorded mix at a party.if u played this set at a party ,the mc’ing would seem appropriate, and you only hear the mc once ,u cant rewind a live party and eventually get tired of something.t1,make sure u come to the next one,u really will enjoy yourself!hope to see u guys soon!and thanx to fred and marty!one more thing:if the very pretty blonde lady with glasses that introduced herself to me reads this ,please get in touch!
