Yeah, Amerie has definetely been played by Sony. I mean &quot;One thing&quot; was huge and then, as you pointed out, with the album and the follow up singles (that were equally good) they just fizzled out and left her hanging. Seems like they don&#039;t have a marketing plan or even know what to do with her music. Maybe that&#039;s the case with alot of acts now, ie Clipse etc. Btw, that Clipse album is looking like it&#039;ll be a monster.</description>

I hope sony doesn&#039;t shit on her album like they&#039;ve done with the past two releases. They&#039;ve developed a pretty terrible habit of pushing her first single to the point of ubiquity and then dropping the ball horribly when it comes to her follow up singles and the lp.
