Blackstrobe

Blackstrobe, theĀ french masters of “doom disco”, had a huge hit at the clubs with their track “Italian fireflies” about two years ago. Now they’re back with an album that features a selection of their remixes of bands such as Bloc Party and The Rapture etc. The album also contains this track of their own that was remixed by british producer Phones (aka Epic Man aka Paul Epworth).

Uninspiring fare from Phones. He’s normally WAY better than this, in this asshole’s opinion.

the bloc party remix sounds a lot like the ascii disco mix of the presets. any relation?
