Songs I wish made us do it, again….
Our good friend Martin over at Songs I wish I had written dropped this track in our mailbox. Here’s what he had to say:
“Next week (the 29th) Songs I wish I had written will release its first 7″single.
Private life of a cat is the abstract pop jewel that will make your heart pound through the winter. Think Beat Happening covering Michael Jackson or the KLF doing a relentless 2007 mashup of France Gall and Colleen. But most of all it’s a flat-out gorgeous pop song with a playfully mean streak that leaves you hanging and humming for weeks. This is the first single in a trilogy with tracks taken from the album that will be released in January.”
