Gwen #2

We found this remix of what’s commonly known as Gwen Stefani’s yoddeling track, “Wind it up” gets a new costume from the Neptunes. They provide new beats but the novelty of the original track sort of wears off.

BONUS: Gwen once again teams up with Pharrell. (Benzi, holla!)

“Yummy” is brilliant! I’ve read it somewhere and I totally agree: Peaches meets Kelis meets Outkast.

That’s actually the original version of “Wind It Up”. It’s quite boring.
“Yummy” on the other hand is probably the freshest thing coming from Neptunes in ages.

Gwen Stefani looks like a drag queen impression of herself in that picture – awful.

… but I still love her.

why don’t you post some of the good tracks from the album say “Early Winter” and “Wonderful Life”? All the Pharrell tracks suck.

Yup, this is not actually a remix. This is the original version by The Neptunes, which comes off as an unfinished demo. Not sure who completed the track with ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’ style orchestra bits and Yoddling. But, it does make it better. This album sounds like an after thought…left over outtakes from her 1st album? Eager to see what she does on her 3rd album, when she has more time :)
