Surkin vs. Maya
The Risky boys reminded me that i was supposed to post another Surkin track, they beat me to posting the remix of Boys Noize but then i remembered this remix that i found on Soulseek (it’s been out a while but nonetheless).
It’s taken from a white label split single with Orgasmic that was released on Institubes. On this track, Surkin tweaks and generally fucks up the M.I.A. track “Sunshowers”, turning it into something that would be played at the hip club Paris Paris (in, yeah that’s right: Paris) during a rowdy and sweaty party. seeing the likes of Surkin, and Jimmy Edgar (20 i think) makes me feel like one of the old heads in dance music, and im only 25!
its good to see people taking care of there arrangements at the moment, rather than just loop 16bars…
