New track from one of our favorite Bay Area rappers, Mistah F.A.B aka “Prince of the Bay”. His third album “Yellow bus rydah” will drop sometime early 2007. On this track he collaborates with the top hyphy producer/rapper Traxamillion. Just listen to the beat with those screwed up strings and handclaps, then tell us that this is not bangin’…

3 Weeks

Swedish producer/dj Jesper Dahlbäck remixes “3 Weeks” which is the latest single off the Tiga album “Sexor”, the single also features a neat Booka Shade remix and was released this monday.

The original track has a hard edge to it and the heartwrenching lyrics along with a cold electro beat makes it almost sinister. On this remix, Jesper gives it more of a club-thumping electro beat while he incorporates some acid-like sounds, effects such as echoes/loops/synths/handclaps that along with the stompy bassline will surely make this track bring down the house. Be sure to pick this up since the whole single is pure gold.

Basement Jaxx just released the second single from their latest album “Crazy itch radio”. It’s entitled “Take me back to your house”. The real gem on the single though is the b-side “Lollipop”. That squelchy beat along with those air horns and the rap from legendary Roxanne Shante makes this simply irresistible.
