'Electro rock' is probably the most appropriate genre name that isn't queer. I don't think it's optimal. I'm just waiting for some perfect word like to come along. For example, before 'grime' was coined, some of the music's proponents referred to it as gabba-gutter-garridge. Obviously the new terminology aided its adoption. I think we still have to reach that point with this new sound. I expect it to stick around longer than grime did....
