A night in Stockholm

The dust has settled from our gig at Spybar in Stockholm this weekend. But we felt that some things had be said before we could let it go and post as usual. Basicly, the setup was the worst we’ve ever played. The equipment didn’t work, some of our friends on the guestlist were ignored and the general vibe was hostile.
That being said, the first one and a half hours was amazing. We want to thank everyone that turned up and made sure that part of the evening was magic. We’d play for a crowd like you any night of the week.
Also, we want to apologize to Tim Sweeney and Mike Simonetti that played together with us. It wasn’t our responsibility to fix working record players and a mixer - but on the other hand we couldn’t believe that things could fuck up that much. Sorry guys.

Spybar is the most overrated venue to be found and many aspects of their policies suck big time; from equipment, treamtent, staff, security and sadly a large portion of the stcuk up and boring crowd.
If Stockholm was not so desperately starved, this place would be totally ignored.

Join the club!
But seriously, We who just partied there probably didn’t notice half of the problems and had a good time. I had a blast even if I felt a tiny bit bad for you guys, and can see where you’re coming from with the critique.
