Apart from all the blogging, we DJ quite a lot. We play the same sort of music that we post, so if you like the blog – you’re going to have a good time on our dancefloor as well. X-mas 21: The Knife

No Discobelle christmas calender would be complete without a track from The Knife. Our swedish heroes dropped one of the best records of the year with “Silent shout”. Then they continued with their quest to conquer the world by doing amazing liveshows and choosing some of the top remixers for their singles. This track remixed by danish producer/dj Trentemöller is 8 minutes of pure magic. A slice of perfect techhouse with some scary vocals, when the break with the handclaps appears about halfway through you know that this is gonna be a monster. This track just gets us every time and if you drop this at the club we’ll be there with a huge smile on our faces dancing Discobelle style (ie waving our towels in the air) and going crazy.

    Their album is a joke, there were far better albums out there this year. All this is because of that Jose Gonzalez cover of Heartbeats. Pathetic!
