Nice use of the sample from Delta 5′s Mind your own business, but still tacky.

Maybe its because I am from Finland and my English is not too good, but this is just garbage. Discobelle will you just post anything now?

ouch! whenever i see that she has a new song, i cringe. and then i listen and it gets worse. who is doing the production though? it’s pretty decent.

i mean, i know the downtown elitist set are all about lying to each others’ faces in order to get ahead, but she’s gotta hang it up before things get really bad. this is NOT good and anybody that says it is, is either lying or is a cornball with bad/no taste.

i think she’s gettin better with each song….i like the fact that she’s innovating sound and using topics other than pussy and finger bangin.

wynken, im starting to think you gots a CRUSH on me.

  • wynken says:

    December 23, 2006 at 19:19

no, I just think it’s interesting how this is like the second song she’s cut and already she’s light years ahead of your pushing 30, 7-years-in-the-game, boring-me-to-tears, skinny ass.

It’s so bad, it’s offensive. I love delta 5, and i’m not averse to their songs being reworked (sandy steele and chicks on speed’s versions of myob are pretty great), but this is moronic toss.

If you read wigster-oriented blogs, there is a very good chance you would have heard of Roxy no matter where in the world you live. If you don’t, you may not have even if you live right here in NYC. Her parties are VERY niche and underground still. She is not a force ilike that in the NYC nightlife scene (yet).

  • Roxy says:

    December 29, 2006 at 16:53

I love how this song needs feedback and its about the anti-feedback. Yap Yap Yap. Clubs keep flying me around the nation and the universe to DJ, perform and just be ROXY. Its fucking amazing….and it is my business so keep talking about it cause it makes me more money, a BIGGER snob and more starfuckable. Thank you Discobelle.net for posting this up!!!! Its getting hot in Miami, time for a tan!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR 007!!!!
    LOVE YALL!!!!!!!!!!

Peace to all the shit talker’s out there. This is a good song if you have ever been in that particular situation. Roxy is one of the Hottest promoter’s in NYC.
Reps the underground where most of these lame ass cat suck the cock of anything suface. She should be celebrated for all that she does to keep NYC culture alive and kicking…Not hated on by cats that are jelly because she had the guts to speak her mind about her real life drama. Hater’s take heed and “Mind your own business” Ya’ll are just sour because this little white girl got more soul in one finger than you could have in a lifetime. Peace to Miss Summers!

If this is the best New York’s underground can muster, it’s pretty fucked.

Son, I am so white, like white lines in Miami. They call me WHITE ROX down here.
What was crazy today was this cuban dude gave me and my 2 girlfriends an ill reflexology massage on the beach and he was a pervert. He touched my friends tittties and I kept feelin him lift up the bikini bottom so he could get a clean sleek view of my soft peach. So I was thinking, should I report this guy to Lowes security for being fucking perverted? But then I kinda got turned on by it all and realized i was in Miami having the time of my life so it wasnt really a big deal if a pervert was staring at my sweet peach. Carry on wiggers.

  • bunnyjawn says:

MEGA SHOUT TO KINETIC NRG for the 8AM pep talk. Love u boo. Its over, when do u want to rehearse my lines?

    honestly i liked it and
    and udontsee
The combination of the rapping style and delta 5′s
    simplicity worked well together.
no/kiss ass, i could care less about nynightlife blahblah
    eh

  • wigger says:

    January 2, 2007 at 20:44

Can I get a peak of your soft peach???

  • Let's Get Really Real says:

The song is awful. Just as the rest of her “music” is. I’ve had the unfortunate experience of seeing her DJ as well. The girl has mediocre verging on decent taste in music (most likely because she rolls with people who…unlike herself… are good at creating music). Having a good crew and music knowledge does not mean she is a good DJ… or rapper, as we’ve seen via this blog post.

Honestly… in an “indie underground” scene like the one that even discobelle is a part of, trends come and go. People feel threatened and always try to stay in the game. Right now this idiot is riding on her friends Amanda Blank and Spankrock’s popularity… but, she doesn’t have their talent. Roxy talks big but is really just an average everyday promoter when it comes down to it. Booking talent for clubs. AKA – her “friends” who endorse her music are the same people that she helps to get paid. Believe me… no one’s feeling this joint. The only people who would ever play this shit out in public is Aaron Lacrate, Roxy herself, or maybe a few of her dumb/deaf followers.

She should stick to promoting and self worship. At least she’s good at both of THOSE things. Cause in the end the only one digging her is her…. and the people she’s blowing.

Just keepin it real in 07.

Mind Your Own Business? Get it, idiot?!?!!???!

Hahahaha….. this is getting soo fun and offensive now. So sincerely salty…

Promoting began as a hobby, DJing began as a hobby, Making music began as a hobby.

Why is everyone so salty that I get paid to do whatever the fuck I want to?

Just keeping it really real in 007.

well something you (Roxy) really managed damn well is keep your real name out of the limelight, it must be one of the best kept secrets (*laughs*)

in times of “transparent” people in online networks, this is really a blessing…
