This just in, a new Justice track has leaked. Unfortunately it’s not the full version but nevermind that. Oh, we’ve been waiting for this and we are in no way disappointed. Although in the same vein as their prevous releases, that’s the way we like it and this is another fine distorted electro banger from our Parisian friends. The break just before the two-minute mark is the shit. (Thanks to Des Essientes)
We couldn’t do a christmas calender without putting Hot Chip in there somewhere. They’re at the top of alot of year round up lists and they’re well worth it. The whole album is killer, the original “Over and over” track was the standout for us here at Discobelle and this remix is the standout of all the remixes done on this track. It’s a seven minute club banger dealing with the joy of repetition. There’s a steady bassline that drives the pulsating beat throughout the song and the mix of electro/indie disco makes this impossible to resist. It will have you out on the dancefloor in no time screaming: “like a monkey with a miniature cymbal”.
This was one of the first tunes we played when me and Björn were holding it down for Discobelle.net at the Hultsfred festival this summer. A couple of hundred people dancing to Swang and Björn and Me waving our discobelle towels.

Being Swedish, and mainly having American visitors, we feel a responsibility towards our fellow northern inhabitants. Therefore we try to push Scandinavian music as much as we can. It’s good, and should get the promotion it deserves. However, some tracks need no geographical justification. This is one of those tracks.
Fibes, Oh Fibes! is a Gothenburg- based band that made all of Sweden sing “Baby, I wanna know your status!” in 2006. Smooth like a Swedish summer breeze, and absolutely irresistible.

Just like the Triple Threat match at Wrestlemania XX between Chris Benoit, Shawn Michaels and Triple H was an instant classic - so is this. We took a quote from the permanent secretary of the Swedish academy, Horace Engdahl and let Swedens Pete Tong, the nicest man on Swedish radio, Calle Dernulf, read it. Then we put some Motion 44 beats underneath it all.

Our Myspace friend Bud Peterson takes Michaels original and jesusjuices it up with that ravey bass that we like so much.
