Little Ruby

After checking out Claude Von Stroke at The Rumble here in Malmö and dancing like crazy to our homies in Pom Pom saturday night, there was no better way to unwind than lying on the couch listening to the new Studio CD while drinking coffee and reading two sunday newspapers. But now it’s a new week and time to get down again. We here at Discobelle got an exclusive for you all. Straight from Toronto, file under amazing electro/house, it’s Little Ruby.

Little Ruby – All Saints edit, this track delivers.

It totally reminds me of the Crydamoure compilations and the filtered french sound. Love the tracks.

Jackson Sisters deserve better than this. Weak.

    Jeff’s album drops in March. Here’s a taste: http://mp3.juno.co.uk/MP3/SF251446-01-01-02.mp3

    Kill Canada.

Alanis. Jim Carey. Pamela Anderson… and now this?

Why are we in Iraq when we should be in Canada?

Very amaturish…Great samples but really boring editing ideas. Sounds outdated, too.

don’t worry, lil ruby. we can go on tour together and show these fools that we actually do RULE!!! YAY!!!!!!!!

The sound is ‘DATED’ Jesse should keep to Mstrkrft, I love Mstrkft but this solo project is weak. Takes some of the shine from Mstrkt when you hear Little Ruby. Licking the dogs balls is alot more appealing than pressing play one more time.

All Saints edit is very good

  • Jamie says:

    January 31, 2007 at 01:37

Yeah, this IS very very dated. MSTRKRFT is very very dated too actually, just the same ol´boring noise/rock/house as 2005 and 2006. When will the kids understand real music and put all these trends aside? This music has no soul, no core. No disrespect to DB though, great blog :-)

“making money is not an excuse for making shitty songs.”

Tell that to Max Martin, biatch.

  • K-Vibe says:

    February 2, 2007 at 10:02

Lol…you’re actually comparing yourself to Max Martin, the man who (with Denniz Pop) took pop music production to a new all-time low. Who cares how much money he makes. Shit music is and will always be shit music regardless how much it sells.

But let’s be honest, your tracks don’t actually sell much do they ;) They just get you hyped in the crap electro blogs and get you more dj gigs. “dj’s” who get gigs just because they made some shitty tracks are all over the place now.

And lay off the white boy hip hop wannabe slang. Make shit music if you can’t do any better but pleeease don’t pretend you’re “street”. Pathetic!
