Gasolina

Straight from LDN and our boys in Radioclit, it’s their remix of the Bonde do Role track “Gasolina”. They’ve added some electro fun to this track. The “Gasolina EP” just dropped and along with an extended mix by Diplo, it also features a more B-more feeling remix by Scottie B & King Tutt and a kuduro remix by Buraka Som Sistema.

I actually really like this a lot. (Wasn’t expecting to, as I’m not a fan of Bonde Do Role… and not much of a fan of everything Radioclit do… but this is fun.)

I prefer the original by Daddy Yankee, brings back sweet memories of many summer nights. The man on the picture looks very weird, something about his style is very odd. I cannot quite put my finger on it. But definitely quite a different and original style. Not too sure if it succeeds though. Something looks off. Perhaps how the black tie is loosened a bit? Or maybe those blonde bangs of hair?

U think the guy on the left looks off? How about the other dude?? He looks ridiculous – like a crunked out throwback wannabe coke dealer. Paul Wall excepted, white people should not wear grills, sorry….

As for the song, it’s aight. I can’t see this going anywhere beyond the standard downtown hipster world so I’m not sure what your definition of “gonna be massive” is, RR?

This is not a cover, just beccause they are both from brazil doesnt mean they cover each other. either way, this is an excellent reggaeton-remix!

I’m sorry, the dude from Radioclit with the grillz is a douche bag.

    Not bad. Playable.

I wouldn’t want to chill with these heads. Every pic I’ve seen has made them look like total dicks. But looks can be deceiving, I guess

yeah this track is damn excellent, although i do feel kinda silly singing along to the (brilliant) lyrics.

They’re not both from Brazil, like Myoziz says. Bonde do Role are, of course, Brazilians, while Daddy Yankee is from Puerto Rico. Besides, it’s not even the same song. Good one though.

I’ll wish good luck upon anyone who uploads the entire EP. That’s like the equivalent of paying money in some cultures.
