We received the new DJ Mehdi “Lucky Girl EP” last week. Here’s the Outlines remix, it hangs on to Fafis (Mehdis wife) pretty vocals turning this into a sweet sounding and soulful pianodriven track. The EP also features a fierce Surkin remix which can be found elsewhere on the web and the amazing Thomas Bangalter edit of “Signatune” that we previously posted. The EP will drop on Ed Banger sometime in march so you know where to cop it.

The Jibbs track “Chain hang low” was one of our favorite hip hop tracks last year, it even made it to our Top 24 list. Now we found this remix of his latest single “King Kong” that among others features Chamilllionaire and a rapper that’s constantly killing it, Lil’ Wayne. (Thanks Simon)

We got this in the mail the other week (courtesy of our buddies over at Nile-on) but for some unknown reason we slept on it. Although we weren’t too big fans of the original, Herve remixes this Unklejam track into a stompy and dirty electro banger. Check the “Love Ya” EP when it drops on February 26th and be on the loo out for more great things on the way from Herve.

We got a new Tinchy Stryder track from Guillaume over at Masala. The debut album from Tinchy Stryder “Star in the hood” is apparently slated for a july release with the release of the single “Breakaway” in april. We’re definetely feeling this and we’re glad to hear that it seems like grime is making a comeback in 2007.
