  Yeah, this is pretty much super-wack but they were right to shoot this on the cheap. Why spend big $ when it’s not a real single and the only place its gonna get played is on the internet? This is the future of hip hop music videos: these quickie, low budget “viral” videos like the ones 50, cam and juelz/weezy have shot recently.

  I hate to say this (’cause Timbo is by far the better producer than Storch in my book) but Storch has a lot of good lines/points.

  Timbo ain’t no Dre. Timbo: found and grew no stars. Dre: NWA, Snoop, Pac, Eminem, 50, Game, etc.

  Timbo is on steroids – only way to pull off the transformation he has

  Timbo did steal the credit for Cry Me a River

  Danger does do most of the hard work nowadays

  Every artist on Beat Club sucked… and Iovine did need to make some money back somehow

  Storch ain’t no Timbo, but Timbo ain’t no Dre.

  Timbo shines with artists who are established or big enough to establish themselves: Missy, Jay, Nelly Furtado, Justin, etc. Same for Storch. This beef leaves Dre standing above it all, the one and true king.

  people talking shit about storch obviously know knothing about his history, hip-hop, nor the music industry.

  storch may have phoned in some work with shitty artists to make some cash, but that’s a producer’s prerogative. timbaland has done the same.

  all of storch’s claims about timb are true- has no one here been made aware of the fact that timb is a beat-jacker extraordinaire? he’s been biting beats since early ’00 when he completely ripped off elektra signees
  Mindles Self Indulgence for Missy’s ‘Get Ur Freak On’, and then got them unceremoniously dropped from the label after they tried to sue- elektra, of course, backed their star producer rather than their fledgeling new group.

  timb is a poor excuse for a producer who thrives off of other people’s grinds.

  storch may be a ‘corny white guy’, but at the end of the day, he has more integrity. he may not be the best producer in the universe, but that’s not what this is about.

  Why is Timbaland still rapping? Didn’t he learn his lesson the first time around when his debut bombed? The only reason this album will sell is because of Justin Timberfag and the lovely Ms. Furtado among others that are contributing to this project. This is gonna be the continuation of Diddy’s “Press Play”.

  Storch needs to just let shit ride and keep making his money. Oh wait, I forgot, he’s a man and men have a hard time swallowing their pride.

  Timbo’s first cd sold 2 mil.

  Both good producers, but timbo got way more time in and hot tracks. Jay-Z aint gone never rap over a scott storch beat. Seriously when it comes to producing, writing, and publishing dollars Jermaine Dupri tops scott and Timbo…..but timbo is my fav. producer. I listen to oldies so Ive heard everything dre has done before he did it. Scott makes good pop music.

  scotty does hip hop beats and makes them off the hook
  timb doesnt do hip hop beats, his stuff is a whole new type of original sound that is freakin AMAZINGG and better and more complicated than the regular ‘hip hop’ sound.
