Fucking jokes, Scott Storch is a fucking cornball.
ian says:
March 3, 2007 at 19:19
Yeah, this is pretty much super-wack but they were right to shoot this on the cheap. Why spend big $ when it’s not a real single and the only place its gonna get played is on the internet? This is the future of hip hop music videos: these quickie, low budget “viral” videos like the ones 50, cam and juelz/weezy have shot recently.

now we’re getting producer beef? hil-ar-ious.
i love them both, so will see how this unfolds. (it is true that Timbo stole most of the accolades for Cry Me A River which was a Storch song.)

totally retrograde yawn… how on earth it’s possible to produce so much shit yet come up with just a handful of listenable tracks?
Poo Juice says:
March 4, 2007 at 20:51
I hate to say this (’cause Timbo is by far the better producer than Storch in my book) but Storch has a lot of good lines/points.
Timbo ain’t no Dre. Timbo: found and grew no stars. Dre: NWA, Snoop, Pac, Eminem, 50, Game, etc.
Timbo is on steroids – only way to pull off the transformation he has
Timbo did steal the credit for Cry Me a River
Danger does do most of the hard work nowadays
Every artist on Beat Club sucked… and Iovine did need to make some money back somehow
Storch ain’t no Timbo, but Timbo ain’t no Dre.
Timbo shines with artists who are established or big enough to establish themselves: Missy, Jay, Nelly Furtado, Justin, etc. Same for Storch. This beef leaves Dre standing above it all, the one and true king.

erm, right.
aaliyah, missy elliott, bubba sparxxx, anyone?
more like storch is too coked up to know what he’s doing.
holler for miami!
Poo Juice says:
March 4, 2007 at 23:06
aaliyah was already a star – proves my point. Timbo worked with her after R. Kelly introduced us all to her.
missy was going to be a star no matter what (and reality is her albums don’t sell very well). Again proves my point.
you call bubba sparxxx a star? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

people talking shit about storch obviously know knothing about his history, hip-hop, nor the music industry.
storch may have phoned in some work with shitty artists to make some cash, but that’s a producer’s prerogative. timbaland has done the same.
all of storch’s claims about timb are true- has no one here been made aware of the fact that timb is a beat-jacker extraordinaire? he’s been biting beats since early ’00 when he completely ripped off elektra signees
Mindles Self Indulgence for Missy’s ‘Get Ur Freak On’, and then got them unceremoniously dropped from the label after they tried to sue- elektra, of course, backed their star producer rather than their fledgeling new group.
timb is a poor excuse for a producer who thrives off of other people’s grinds.
storch may be a ‘corny white guy’, but at the end of the day, he has more integrity. he may not be the best producer in the universe, but that’s not what this is about.

Juliet says:
March 5, 2007 at 04:23
This was absolutely hilarious–but not in the manner intended. Comedy gold, this, yup!
People’s claims about Timbaland being involved in any number of scurrilous affairs merely serve to betray a lack of understanding as to the lack of malice involved in the oft-blurry waters of the creative commons ethic.
Also: I’m sorry, but has anyone noticed that the Pussy Cat Dolls stuff produced by Timbaland is like, 100000 better than the Storch stuff for Paris?…ANd his wack-ass tracks for 50 Cent? (Although I must confess myself to be nonetheless partial to his “piano man” work on “Still D.R.E”)
Juliet says:
March 5, 2007 at 04:28
Also: How is Timbaland supposed to “get [his] name out [his] mouf” when the original, perceived oblique diss never mentioned his name to begin with?
Oh, how people flatter themselves XD Sure, I’ll just bet he “tried to be tha better man”! Hah!!
Black Amber says:
March 5, 2007 at 07:27
Why is Timbaland still rapping? Didn’t he learn his lesson the first time around when his debut bombed? The only reason this album will sell is because of Justin Timberfag and the lovely Ms. Furtado among others that are contributing to this project. This is gonna be the continuation of Diddy’s “Press Play”.
Storch needs to just let shit ride and keep making his money. Oh wait, I forgot, he’s a man and men have a hard time swallowing their pride.

I still can’t get my head around the fact Storch used to play keys for the Roots way back when. I can’t even imagine them holding any member of the Roots current or past, eve getting along with that dude. Storch is talented, but Timbo kills it. Plus He was born and raised in my city. Seriously though, he played in the Roots crew. Seriously.

TIMBALAND = MEGA POP PRODUCER/ SHITTY RAPPER
STORCH = SORTA MEGA RAP PRODUCER/ SHITTIER RAPPER

“Why is Timbaland still rapping? Didn’t he learn his lesson the first time around when his debut bombed?”
Timbo’s first cd sold 2 mil.
Both good producers, but timbo got way more time in and hot tracks. Jay-Z aint gone never rap over a scott storch beat. Seriously when it comes to producing, writing, and publishing dollars Jermaine Dupri tops scott and Timbo…..but timbo is my fav. producer. I listen to oldies so Ive heard everything dre has done before he did it. Scott makes good pop music.
Also how u gonna say timbo got franks on his neck with Fat Joe’s fat ass in the background of the video looking like he just ate a rhino (and I do like fat joe’s old stuff, esp. that yellow cd don carigina) but come on. Timbo got a song thats going to also sale records. Hes going to come out with more money from this battle. Producers all the time say they are better than others. Thats not the big deal, scott got pissed and made it personal.
AND that Mrs. Jade track destroyed scott.

found a Scott Storch beat with Jay-Z on.
MEMPHIS BLEEK feat. JAY-Z & BEANIE SIGEL : murda murda (from M.A.D.E.)
Timbo is ‘The Beat Maker’ in my eyes, he puts funk in that no one else does. Everything he does has a depth to it.
Plus i’m liking this electro progression in Hip Hop that’s going down. Timbo setting trends again.
Scott Storch got nothing on him.
check out some of these for a range. Timbo at his best.
TIMBALAND & MAGOO : beep
JAY-Z feat. TWISTA & MEMPHIS BLEEK : is that yo bitch
JAY-Z feat. BIG JAZ & AMIL : nigga what, nigga who
TIMBALAND & MAGOO feat. TWEET : all ya’ll
MISSY ELLIOTT feat. NELLY : wake up
THE GAME : put you on the game
FAT JOE : everybody get up
could go on n on n on……..

scott storch is a tight producer, im going to admit, but timbaland is a freakin genius. all you people who dis scott storch hate him only because you like Timbaland.
i cant get enough of lean back, candy shop, and that tight track on gimme that, but im captivated by timbs innovative beats.
scotty does hip hop beats and makes them off the hook
timb doesnt do hip hop beats, his stuff is a whole new type of original sound that is freakin AMAZINGG and better and more complicated than the regular ‘hip hop’ sound.
scotty doesnt suck, hes good! hes great, but hes no Timb. yall make this out like scotty sucks and Timbs a god. they both ballin. scotty beefin with timb is like Dwayne beefin with Lebron, they both amazing, but Lebron is obviously the king; dont hate scotty cuz you like Timb. if you hate scotty, hate because he looks like a fool, thinks he can rap, is an arrogant jerkoff, and claims he is hood and a strait killah.
Jermaine “J.D.- yall kno what this is” Dupri is Michael Jordan though.
p.s. between the two dissin songs (storch’s built like dat and timbs D.O.E), storchs is better. built like dat sucks, but DOE is straight horrible. worst timb song i ever heard
