Engineered means i’m still learning ableton and greg knows how. i was in a rush to get this done, so i asked him to help me with the program, which he so graciously did. i picked out the tracks and mixes myself, but the end product is very much a team effort made in one mad 6 hour session.

Franki Chan says:

The Beach Boys mix is by one of the raddest kids out of Miami, Jake Jefferson. He throws two rad parties, Money Shot and Pop Life. Look those up on Myspace, you can find him through there. Maybe he’ll give you the edit.
As for mixing, whoever said I can’t mix? I can play this mix live through and through. If i couldn’t, i wouldn’t put it out for the world to hear. Don’t believe me? Come see me play now, not three years ago.
Isn’t all this supposed to be fun anyways?
peace!

“I can play this mix live through and through.”
what about all those ableton chops making ny lipps sound b-morish? yeah you could claim relative mode in serato but hmm…
that being said, Franki CAN mix…and Diplo at Check Yo Ponytail was the most fun I’ve had out so far this year. Can’t fuck with that.
