The Mark Ronson album is out here in the UK and I picked up a copy earlier this week – the production is excellent and the tracks are mostly good, there are a couple of duffers. I’m not overly impressed with the Coldplay cover or the track with Robbie Williams (The Only one I Know) – but the Lily track is good (if old – it was on her mixtape), and the Amy winehouse cover of Valery by the Zutons is pretty good (check out her live version on the Paradiso live set)…
The highlight for me is the brilliant rework of Toxic, featuring Tiggers and the mighty ODB….utterly infectious, and definately getting caned in the club this weekend.
