Saxophone

One of the most hyped up releases of the spring for fans of french electro has now finally emerged, thanks to the wonders of Le Internet (aka Clitspit). Here is the Mr Oizo track “Patrick 122″ with an extended saxophone break and we’re betting that this will be the jam for the summer. The “Transsexual/Patrick 122 EP” will be released on Ed Banger Records early June.

Kommer ihåg låten Flat Beat som spelades flitigt på Vox Pop… Usch vad jag hatade den där nallen som satt och rökte cigarr på videon. Dålig låt!

Arvid, you’ll like it ’cause support of every Ed Banger release seems mandatory in most corners of the Internets. Just relax and conform.

    Hello all!

For your knowledge, the saxophone is taken from:
Gary’s Gang – Do It At The Disco and has also been used in another housetune which i can’t remember at the moment… anyway Gary’s Gang is the shit.. original then.
    Best regards / Daniel

Amazing use of the samples… Where can you go wrong with this track. Absolutely astounding!

  • Nasty Nav says:

    May 8, 2007 at 06:00

Toronto’s Noel Nanton also flipped this same Gary’s Gang sample on his track “El Ray” a few years ago for Nick Holder’s DNH imprint…
