No offense but Skateboard P needs to “give it up” on the whole bringing Bmore to the mainstream and leave it to the ogs.

nice to see that pharrell is also just a human being…for now. maybe he is saving the heavy bangers for a big comeback in the near future. i hope.

What OG’s are gonna take Bmore club mainstream? Whoever they are, they might be the pioneers and architects of this music but their names mean nothing in the mainstream cos if they could have broken B’more already they would have. Now granted Pharrell’s take on B’more club sounds virtually nothing like the real thing based on this track but he is one of the biggest producers in the game whose name rings bells with the gatekeepers in the industry who break records (radio station and video show program directors). It’s gonna take someone like him to take this music out of the underground the same way it was Lil Jon, not Rick Rock or Droop-E, who was responsible for hyphy’s first nationwide hit record.

There was a Bmore remix on one of the official 12″s of She Wants to Move. I think maybe it was Johnny Blaze?
This track sounds more like a Collipark production than anything from Baltimore. If only Pitbull were on this…

It’s funny you mentioned Pitbull Cousin Cole, cause as soon as the song ended I played Shake, starring Pitbull and the Ying Yang Twins. It just felt right.

def. is a mixture of miami caribbean beat with a punch of b-more in the bass. i commend the production. but seriously how many times do we have to repeat the chorus.

Okay, this is totally unrelated to this post but for the past two days I’ve been looking everywhere on the internet for a certain Glass Candy mp3, it’s called Etheric Device
Both Hypem and Dogpile turned up zero valid links
If anyone could nudge me in the right direction I’d really appreciate it
just email me on phagan_san@hotmail.com

“yawn” its an insult to say this track is fused with Baltimore club and Miami bass!!! The reason us og’s never score a national hit with Baltimore club is because, like every other form of new music someone rapes it and waters it down…..that shit sounds more like what timbaland is doing now….although the hook is a blatant “jack” of Miss Tony’s record. Yall will see how Baltimore club is supposed to be done when the 410 Pharoahs album drops late summer!!!!!! He could at least get a bmore producer to do a remix!!!!! Baltimore and Miami with his own twist!!!! Nigga Please!!!!

[...] Baltimore club is sooo hot right now!
