New T.I.

The new T.I. album “T.I. vs. T.I.P.” will drop on july 3rd (we posted the track with Jigga a few days ago). The album is looking pretty good with production from The Runners, Mannie Fresh, Wyclef, Eminem (check Fluokids for that track), Danja and this track from Just Blaze. We’ve always been digging Just Blaze and “Help Is Coming” doesn’t let us down. The usual strings and larger than life production from Just Blaze with a frantic swagger from T.I. about how he is the man that’s gonna save hip hop.

SMD – I Believe (Switch remix)

Jas Shaw and James Ford aka the mighty Simian Mobile Disco have been killing it all around Europe this past spring and will continue to do so at numerorus festivals this summer. They’re two of the nicest guys around and deserve all the praise they’ve been getting. Their album “Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release” was just released last week. One of our favorite tracks off the album is “I Believe” (the single will be released on july 17th) and thanks to Grindin’ we can give you this mindblowing remix by Switch.

Hollywood Holt

Just talked to Curt (of Flosstradamus fame) on AIM. He sent this over, Hollywood Holt from the Windy City with a hilarious take called “Throw A Kit” on that Rich Boy “Throw Some D’s” track. He’s got a new mixtape dropping soon. Oh yeah, the Flosstradamus boys will be playing with Chromeo on their upcoming North American tour. Kids, don’t sleep!

Studio – Brennan Green remix

Studio is the soundtrack to drinking rosé in the park with your friends as the sun sets or maybe the soundtrack to when you’re chilling on the beach in the wee hours of the morning. Brennan Green adds a little more club flavour with this remix. This is the shit. You can purchase the Studio album here or digital releases over here.

New Tronik Youth remixes

We’re off to a flying start this week. Our friend Tronik Youth gave us these two new remixes. The first one is an exclusive remix of belgian electropopgroup Goose and their track “Bring It On” that apparently wasn’t rowdy enough to be included on their remix EP that features the likes of MSTRKRFT, Acid Jacks and Teenage Bad Girl. The second track is a remix of british indiegroup The Rakes “The World Was A Mess, But His Hair Was Perfect”.
