We’ve talked about the new Dr Octagon (Kool Keith) album “The Return Of Dr Octagon” before. “Trees” was the first single off the album and features this remix from Spank Rock. “Trees” sees the good doctor doing some enviromental rapping over an infectious and surprisingly catchy beat, add a remix treatment from the Baltimore club marauders in Spank Rock and you get a Dr Octagon track that should work well in the club.
This brings back a lot of memories here at the Discobelle headquarters.
The new EP from our favorite swedish rappers, Ison & Fille was released about a month ago. The track “Vad E Det För Mode?” is also the title track off their upcoming album and showcases the two rappers signature style along with their precise flow.
We dedicate this song to Mr. Supa Fly himself a.k.a Ingmar Bergman. We salute one of the biggest that ever came out of Sweden. R.I.P old man.
It’s monday and we’re starting this week with yet another excellent remix from our Italian friends in The Bloody Beetroots that popped up in our mailbox late last night. The Bloody Beetroots have quickly become favorites for alot of bloggers and we can’t help but join in on all the praise they’ve received. Here, they remix the track “Pistols And Hearts” by UK indie group Captain Phoenix and create a vicious electrodriven affair. The EP “Pistols And Hearts” will be released on August 6th.
