why didn’t he take the justice video with this song ? What does he want to show us with this video ? that he has enough money to buy the producers of the D.A.N.C.E video and have better chances at the MTV EMA’s this november.
I mean I like how it looks, I even like the song, although I don’t like Kanyes music, but by using exactly the same technique as Justice did, he makes himself look ridiculous.
what a looser he is. song is a ripoff, lyrics wack and video total copycat. All made by marketing people. If anybody wants this album, go and download it on bittorrent but don´t buy this crap.
It is so_me that did this video, so everybody chill. After last years meltdown at the EMA’s he went backstage and partied with Justice, which has led to a great friendship with the whole Ed Banger crew. They’re the ones who introduced him to electro and house and inspired him to push everything he did on the album.
So what you haterzzzz are saying is that Kanye was wrong to hire So_Me (who did an amazing job on this video btw)? So if any other artists than Justice hire SO_Me there copycats? You people can’t see the difference between a director and an artist? If So_Me wants to make videos for different artists that have the same style (his), he’s not copying anyone since it’s HIS work.Cunts.
Everybody relax. Of course it’s SoMe. No-one’s hiding that fact. And newsflash for those who only reside in the online/Discobelle world: Justice is only hot in Europe and in select hipster circles elsewhere. So the fact that a major American rapper has hired their video director to do his video is not lame, a rip-off etc. Trust me, this is good for Justice’s profile and I’m sure SoMe is doing friggin’ cartwheels at getting this look too so get over yourselves.
Kanye blows monkey balls
…and no he didnt “party” with justice
they were touring the states at the time of the europe
awards…did i forget, btw kanye blows monkey balls….no hate
its the truth!
funny that kanye gets the same director (SO ME) to do his video EXACTLY like Justice’s in hopes to win…too bad it won’t…can’t wait to see Justice again in LA they KILL IT
that GIRL is the point and you all missed it. start paying attention. start bitching that the video isn’t just her wiggling around and then you will have a valid argument.
Wow just wow. These comments are so funny. I dont think Kanye held SoMe up at gun point and forced him to make this video. So if SoMe is mates with Justice and he did this video willingly, then obviously they’re all cool with ‘Ye’. Ed Banger is an amazing team and it was only a matter of time b4 they got they’re recognition…
For people who are saying that kanye is copying SO-ME
Please pay attention at “It feels like NY” moment in the video (1:03) and watch what is on taxi’s roof..
And as SomeOfYouAreRetarted said “If So_Me wants to make videos for different artists that have the same style (his), he’s not copying anyone since it’s HIS work”
At 2:50 the rooster that’s whistling at the girl is part of t-shirt designs from A-Trak’s Sunglasses is a Must line. We all know the connection between Kanye and A-Trak though, so that’s just mostly trivia. Also, this song sucks, video sucks.
SO_ME might as well take a sh%$ and wrap it up in toilet paper and you guys would still think it’s genius…As much as I might love Ed Banger, they don’t merit the hype they receive anymore. The Lovestoned remix was poor and Justice has polished their sound towards pop production, sign of weaker material to come, though i hope i’m wrong…
and like someone else said it didn’t cost a million dollars. it is, whatever you want to say about kanye, on the cutting edge (for, you know, #1 album selling artists). And if you want to comment on stupid videos watch the 2 hours (i think that’s about all they do now) of music videos on MTV everyday.
i do wanna know why he’s selling yay to the kids though. he went from semi conscious flamboyant backpacker to yayed out glam rapper. that said it’s a better aesthete than the all to popular hustler turned “rapper”
replicate whatever is hot and new (while jacking samples that are hot and old) and push it on the clueless mtv kids like he invented the shit himself. LAMEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
I really can’t stand this putz. He and britney should jump off a cliff holding hands.

September 12th, 2007 at 15:35
Wow.
I wanna read something about his collabo with So-Me and how this whole D.a.n.c.e theme started out.
And just a question – isn’t so-me just an illustrator? Can he do all the technical video stuff too?
September 12th, 2007 at 15:49

So your saying that the Music Artist has no input at all in the video that is made for the song? or I’m just misunderstanding you?
September 13th, 2007 at 14:59
KANYE

HIP-HOP
he just whores everything that is popular.
that said he does come up with a good song every so often.

September 13th, 2007 at 18:39
I guess it’s not the video style itself that sucks, it just doesn’t really mesh well with the music at all.
September 13th, 2007 at 21:46
I like it, and I’m usually a big hater
September 13th, 2007 at 23:54
anyone know the name of the girl? she’s really hot
