Shake A Fist

Hot Chip are back with a new track entitled “Shake A Fist” but those of you who have seen them live know that it’s usually been a staple in their set. The track apparently features Todd Rundgren on vocals and is a prime example of Hot Chips slower electropop, it’s lined with a sqiuggly synth and some weird bleepy noises during the second half of the song and there’s even a chainsaw in there somewhere. It will be released on a limited 12″ sometime in September.

    Anyone knows where one can find more of the sound in the beginning? The kind of arabic sounding part. It comes up throughout the poem, the slow, mystic thingy. Anyone?
