Twista + Kanyeezy + Feist

This leaked a couple of days ago but we slept a little on it.

Anyway, we’re big fans of Feist here at Discobelle and we think it’s kinda cool that Kanye & Twista decided to sample her track “Gatekeeper”. The track – “Well It’s Time” – is a bonus track lifted off the new Twista album “Adrenaline Rush 2007″. It features Twista rapping fast as usual, unfortunately it sort of clashes a bit with the sweet voice of Feist but it’s still good.

this is actually a good mix
when I first saw it I was kind of afraid of how this track would sound…but its actually pretty good
and plus I love feist so anything with her in it would be good
it also kind of reminds me of the Kanye West song stronger that he did though…Im noticing this trend where major artists go and sample people like daft punk and feist and then make their own tracks
it just goes to show you just how good this music really is

Track is not bad if people could put their cooler-than-thou hateration aside but Kanye would sound better on it IMHO. It really sounds more like something that should be on a mixtape to my ears but it could win since its using what’s basically an updated take on the beat-jacking formula Puffy perfected in the 90′s. More importantly though: I never knew what Feist looked like before now. Whoa, those lips – she could definitely get it!

It’s hip hop, guys. Sampling is not a new concept, sorry!

yeah hes being smart like hes got all his fans but then by sampling feist and daft punk etc.. he can branch out to people with different music taste
