so clearly you didn’t even bother listening to the track. purple crush are one of the few electronic acts who know something about actually performing live, you should be so lucky.

why does my scene have so much drama. fuck man.
    everyone’s a winner. we’re making our fame.
    these sounds are good.

  • Mr. Anonymous says:

I don’t think saying that this band is not good is causing “drama”. They actually do suck and don’t deserve any hype let alone the privelage of playing to an audience that’s not throwing things at them. Wake up internet! They are like musical spam! Block them from your life!

ok, there is no way in hell im gonna let this kind of viral energy linger on. im a married woman now, which means i am completely over the bullshit….

first off, leif, you fucking rock, your talented as shit and more of a man than most dudes round these parts cause you’re not afraid to post as yourself…..and you dont count curtis, cause i KNOW that most if not all of this hateration is you posting from your multiple personalities.

im not for one second gonna buy into this shit, cause im sitting here with a wad of cash in my hand and the energy of up to 400 people glowing from a show that was deemed “magical” by the people of Gothenburg…..and it’s gonna happen again tomorrow night in Malmo.

thank you so much to martin and sweet fred for helping purple crush fulfill the dream…you guys are building the future of music.

by posting such ugly, negative, unconstructive and viral shit, (which doesnt just happen when purple crush gets posted, but all the fucking time) you’re insulting a music community that has launched the careers of most Djs and artists on the scene. grow the fuck up. fuck you, pay me, and fuck the dj.

  • Bjorn says:

    October 27, 2007 at 23:00

Let the music do the talking Isla and we’ll see where you are in a year. Good luck. You need it.

  • isla says:

    October 28, 2007 at 10:49

honey, luck has nothing to do with it. im in your country, meet me for brunch at 2 with the discobelle crew and we’ll talk all about it.

i hate to say it but i was looking at this photo the other day before there were any comments and i wanted to spout nonsense…..

i downloaded the track. it sucks. get over it.

i come back and there are a bunch of rude but pretty true comments.

    funny $hit

  • leif says:

    October 29, 2007 at 03:27

    isla, i must–

are any of you haters musicians?

coming from someone who is a real friend and fan of both purple crush and curtis vodka, i have no issue with, or bias in defending isla and her creative work… so i’m really excited to throw in my two sense and say that the only people who really suck are the ones who bust a nut over discrediting someone’s art directly to their face. this blog isnt going to make anyone the next perez hilton y’all.

p.crush, do you mind if i share this?
    the gun – purple crush

obviously purple crush has talent, theyre just doing something that’s very fun live and if you can’t take it seriously, maybe you’re not supposed to. but just stop trying to make people break. 1 – because that’s fuckin terrible 2 – because isla won’t

  • Josef says:

    October 29, 2007 at 08:19

I’m a musician and I think this music is garbage. The girl has a terrible voice, the lyrics are stupid and not even remotely funny. It’s not that they couldn’t ever be good it’s just that right now they’re not. I don’t think criticism is hating. It’s kind of like we as creative individuals should hold each other to certain standards in order to make each other better. Here’s my 2 cents: Purple Crush, you suck. Please try to get better or go away. Thank you.

p.s. Isla, stop acting like such a pre-madonna on all these blogs. If I see one more rambling defense from you about your crappy music I’m gonna puke. Why do you think people “hate” Purple Crush? Because you guys are sooooooo successful??? Beacuse you get sooooooo many critical accolades??? Because you have soooooo much money??? It’s because your music is lame! That’s the only reason people dislike you. That’s the only thing anyone knows of you, your crap music clogging up the blogs. Yekkkkkk.

let people dislike shit if that’s what they do!! you can’t expect everyone to like everything. enjoy they love you get (seems like a fair deal in this case) and accept the rest.

personally I’d dance to this, but it’s far from being genious. hang in there though PC, one day the bomb might explode to the felicity of everyone
