Our italian friends in Pig Mag who run the best webradio out there, Pig Radio, just dropped this new podcast with Swedish italo disco/pop princess Sally Shapiro and producer Johan Agebjörn. Maybe not the usual hard banging stuff that we feature here on Discobelle, but this is really amazing and perfect for those weekend days when you’re tired from clubbing. If you want to hear more, check out the album “Disco Romance” that was released last year. Boomkat wrote: “Disco Romance” will have you crying as you dance - and not in a bad way…”which is an accurate description of Sally Shapiros music.

One of our favorite New York bands, The Rapture, have a new remix 12inch coming out next month on Throne Of Blood Records. The track “The Sound” from their latest album “Pieces Of The People We love” gets shredded by Ben Trucker from Gucci Soundsystem into a full blown classic 90’s rave banger complete with breaks and everything. This is destined to create havoc on dancefloors.

Our favorite italians - Crookers - are back with a new and highly enjoyable remix. This time, they turn their attention to Australian group Bumblebeez and provide the track “Dr Love” with some of their trademark eurocrunk/ghetto tech/fidget house reworking. You might have heard the A-Trak remix of this track, it’s also pretty damn good although a bit more upbeat and keeps more of the vocals, the Crookers remix strips the original track of most of the vocals (except for that “Fire” outcry) and goes into a darker/clubbier direction. The single was just released on Modular Records and you should pick it up ASAP.

Damn, this has been making the rounds today. From Mad Decent earlier this morning and some other blogs but now we got it in the mail straight from the source. Maskinen is some sort of secret group from Sweden (we’re guessing on a few rather well known rappers from here) and on this club track they basically rap about “everyone that doesn’t dance are rapists” and that’s also the title of the track.

We received a new track from our Swiss friends in Audioporno. They just finished their electro tinged remix of the track “Fais Rentrer Les Euros” by Parisian rapper M.I.T.C.H. and it includes guestvocals from Feadz and Uffie. This is an unreleased remix and won’t be featured on the upcoming single on Mental Groove Records. On the other hand, you’ll get a Feadz remix, a Jokers Of The Scene remix and a dirty south remix done by DJ Raze.

We’ve got some new stuff in the mail from our friend Sinden who seems deadbent on the award as the hardest working man in the business. He’s been cranking out some of best tunes we’ve heard for months (a couple of them made with his partner in crime Count Of Monte Cristal). All of them are dancefloor destroyers.
