Our year end list wouldn’t be complete without an appearance by M.I.A. “Paper Planes” is our favorite track off the “Kala” album and how could you go wrong with incorporating cash register sounds and gun shots.

yeh that remix is spot on, she was on letterman a couple of months back and they edited out the gunshot samples.

yeah wolly i saw that shit. it was entirely unnecessary. we can talk about sexual favors and make innuendos for sick and disgusting things, but wait we cannot have gunshots in tonight’s music! alright i’m going to go bang kala.

you can’t go wrong with incorporating cash register sounds and gun shots… but for me, it’s the Clash sample that does it for me :)
