Man, this is like something that you would do on the first day of Sound Engineering 101 in art school. “Ok Class, now take this song and see if you can add some drums to it. No need to get fancy, lets just start with the basics.” what a buster.

this is a pretty poor effort. I’ve wanted to see kanye and mj get together for a min but this shit is lame.
I want to see kanye making new beats for mj using old jackson 5 samples
Cruickshank says:

i’ll be the first to call bullshit on this. the ‘kanye’ utterances around 3:48 in the track sound SO fucking clipped or something like they were spliced from seperate tracks. this is too weak to be official. if it is, then shit – worst remix EVAIR ^_^

Not suprisingly poor. I mean its bad. But i expected as much. Kanye is a hip-hop producer, and a good one at that. But this is musically more complex than anything he’s worked with before. MJ’s vocals and that chord progression are more to maintain than what Kanye usually has restricting him. Basically Kanye had to deal with more than just the rhythm of the track. Not an excuse, just a reason. Probably should of taken Music Theory 101 before graduating eh?

This HAS to be a fake. Like Cruickshank said those Kanye vocals sound like they were lifted from somewhere. I’m guessing “number 1″ since thats what the vocals say. If I’m wrong and this is an actually Kanye remix…wow thats poor product!

i predict a new major music industry promotion trend for 2008:
instead of continueing to produce luke warm and uninspired tracks as it was the case for the last 3 years you just make really really bad, dilettante and horrible music.
people will talk about that, innit?

This is amazing – the Thriller 25 album will show a whole new generation of kids who Michael Jackson is and the legand that he was and will be again when his new album comes out later in 2008. Theres gonna be a whole new fan base created and recindled love for Mike worldwide!

I always like Mike, so I hope he brings out new material soon.
I have only heard the new versions of ‘Wanna Be Startin Something’ and ‘the Girl Is Mine’ and I have to say that I think they did a good job.
I think Kanye had the hardest job trying to revamp ‘Billie Jean’. The song is probably one of the most recognised songs around and such a classic, he’d never be able to keep everyone happy. From what I’ve been told he hasn’t done much to it and I hoped he’d be a bit more daring with the production to completely mix it up – a bit like Akon did with WBSS.
I hope the Thriller 25 project is a success since it’s about time we remembered Mike for his music rather than the contraversy. As the biggest selling album of all time, it certainly deserves respect and so does he.

This track wuz phat. Damn i recently started listening to michael jackson and this foo is pretty down!!! The Thriller 25 CD was dope and shit so fuk the haters that hate michael cuz of his trial. MICHAEL IS STILL BADASS!!! DON’T REMEMBER HIM FOR HIS TRIAL BUT FOR HIS NAME “THE KING OF POP” AND JUST LISTEN TO HIS GOD DAMN MUSIC!!! I recommend listening to Beat It or Thriller which are basically his 2 most famous songs and probably his best. Or billie jean. all bad ass songs
