Xmas 2007, 23: Armand Van Helden – I Want Your Soul (Crookers remix)

This has been our jam this year. Armand Van Helden makes what could be the club hit of the year with the track “I Want Your Soul”. Perfect pounding blend of electro and pop, and to top it all off the Crookers boys roughs it up with a nasty bassline and some added thump making this our dancefloor favorite.

Yeah, Crookers’ made a great mix here, but I still prefer the Fake Blood version.

Fake Blood killed it this year.

The Crookers main remix is the shit-way better then the crunk mix above. The Fake Blood mix just sounds like they just learned how to sample and use Glitch plugin-and about as subtle and annoying as a road drill….rookie compared to the Crookers.

The final part (04:25) where they change the melody is superb!
