South Rakkas Crew vs. Diplo

Hot on the heels of their “Mix Up” album, we got this Diplo edit of the dancehall/80’s house track “Mad Again” (which uses elements of the classic Inner City track “Big Fun”) from some of our favorite dancehall producers/remixers, namely South Rakkas Crew. This is straight up fire!
Diplo’s not being staying on the lazy side in 2008, watch out for some massive stuff dropping in the near future, including the upcoming “Diplo & Benzi Present: Paper Route Records “Fear & Loathing In Hunts Vegas” CD along with the “Rollin” 12″ on Mad Decent (featuring remixes from Diplo/Benzi&Rashad/Flosstradamus/DJ Sega)

the boy 8-bit edit off this is really good as well.

there’s barely any difference between this edit and the original. the mc chatter from the start of the track is gone, beats are added to the start of the track, the outro is sparser

I guess that’s why it’s called an edit and not a remix Def Defy.

Play the original Good Life and that’s it.
