Hit The Bit

Aleks from the excellent blog Disco Dust has been putting us onto alot of great stuff lately. This is the latest of tracks he’s sending out to the blog community. We didn’t know too much about these artists (well, except for Yo Majesty) but this is really amazing stuff. A remix done up by Lorenz Rhode of the single (on Compost Records) “Hit The Bit” from Munich based dj/producer Ben Mono. This piece of bit-hop (as Ben calls it) features vocals from the Tampa electro/rap trio Yo Majesty whose flow fits perfectly with the 80′s sounding french flavoured house remix. Aleks wrote that this: “sounds like the best remix Alan Braxe never made”, we couldn’t agree more.

    Alright! Love Ben Mono’s music. Sick song and great on the dance floor.
    If you get a chance to see him spin, go he wont disappoint.

    I got a chance to meet him when he played in Beijing and the guy is a genuine and good man. much respect and love goes to him.
