Royal Flush

Oh shit, a new Outkast track featuring Raekwon The Chef! This is our jam right here, we’ve listened to this non-stop since yesterday. Apparently, “Royal Flush” is going to be the lead single off the upcoming solo album from Big Boi “Sir Luscious Left Foot”. (Thanks to DJ Neoteric for the 320 hook up)

Old Money

Got this track from from Old Money in the mail today. “Steve Harvey” is from their new EP “That’s What She Said EP” that will be released sometime next month. “Steve Harvey” is produced by Konrad and there are some remixes coming up (we will try to get you some of them later).

If you are in Pennsylvania on March 29th you can catch them with the Cool Kids (more info).

Yelle-Je Veux te Voir (Cocotaxi Remix)

Klubb Cocotaxi are starting up their new club at Nalen (Stockholm, Sweden) next friday. Bailefunk, Baltimorebeat, Electro and Blogghouse and Sanna Hartfield screaming her lungs off on the mic. That’s what’s up.

But if you like me don’t live near Stockholm or just don’t give a f*** about clubs in other cities, they were smart enough to give us an mp3 so that we had a reason to post something. This screwy version of Yelle track “Je Veux te Voir” with some extra Bailefunk flavour is what gave them the post.

Keep My Composure

From the soundtrack to popular TV-show “Heroes” we find this previously unreleased collabo between The Chemical Brothers and Spank Rock. This starts out a bit like a slow and quirky electro banger, then gains momentum and Naeem spits his lines while The Chemical Brothers gathers a pounding beat along with a wall of weird bleeps and sounds around him. (Thanks to Critical Acclaim)

Parker Lewis – Risky Dancing by Alvy Singer

As usual when it comes to Alvy Singer I don’t know much about the song more than it feels good when I listen to it. This will be released on Mad For It on Monday. You can find more from Parker Lewis here.

Alphabeat – Fascination (singalong version)

Omnikrom (Le Matos remix)

Le Matos were featured in one of our We Got Mail editions a few months ago and they got some good response. The first official remix by Le Matos popped up in our mailbox yesterday. They’ve remixed the track “Prends Une Photo Avec Moi” from fellow Montrealians in rap group Omnikrom (famous for their ode to Quebecois fast food “Danse La Poutine”). Le Matos turns the track into some synthy futuristic electro/hip hop which is undeniably perfect for the club.

Third

Last week the third album from british group Portishead entitled simply “Third” seeped through the cracks of the internet. The album will be released on April 28, apparently “Machine Gun” is the upcoming single and this is the video.

The AKA’s vs. Ocelot & Bird Peterson

We here at Discobelle are pretty much ordinated some Bird Peterson AKA Bird Heaterson at least once a week. Here he teams up with LA electro duo Ocelot for a remix of The AKA’s track “This Is The Way We love” and this is just a perfect banger to get rid of that Easter daze (just wait for that woobly bass drop).
