Remember 1985?

Sam Roqwell and I Sancho make sure you do with their remix of Junior’s 1985 club hit “Do You Really (Want My Love)”. If you watched Beverly Hills Cop you’ll remember this, it was on the soundtrack one year before it came out on it’s own. The Heat Is On!

    When I inherited my grandfather’s truck, I was stuck with a cassette deck as my sole musical playback device. My dad gave me my old stack of tapes from when I was little, and this was my favorite back then (the soundtrack, that is). After rediscovering it a few months ago, this song by Junior was the standout for me. So much funk…

    Which I guess is my long way of saying I love this song, remix, etc. Wish I would have thought of it.

    If you want it on vinyl you could try getting the Beverly Hills Cop Sound Track.
