actually, the original pressing"Point of no Return" on Pantera records is in fact credited to X-posed. When the record was later re-released on Arista, it was under the name Expose. Do the knowledge! Thanks for the nice words Dyce.

Dyce-

Nice one m8! As a DJ approaching 40 - it is nice to see DJ's reaching in the crates and actually being creative with it. I'm sick of either having to listen to a modern breaks mix ORr a retro 'classics' mix.

As for the vinyl issue. Who cares anymore? Really, anyone. Yeah - I feel like the mack motherfucking man being able to pull out an original copy of Sun La Shan with the stamp - but in the end - if the song moves asses on the floor - I don't care if it is being played on laptop or 8 track tape!

And pre-taped edits have been around forever - Levan, Hardy et al... all used reel to reel edits - so I don't think what people like Girl Talk are doing is any less DJ-ing because it's over manipulated.

There's a place for that Loft style "let the track speak for itself" philosophy and that "fuck a track up until it's unrecognizable" philosophy on MY dancefloor (which at this moment is my couch with mySaturday morning coffee ;) )

Sorry about some of the messed up file names and what not in the write-up. I did the write-up at about 2am on a thursday night assuming the mix was going to be posted the next day so its rushed and some of the stuff I wrote makes no sense. When it wasn't posted on that friday I edited it and sent it back in but they still posted the original.

DOPE, DOPE MIX! But I am assuming none of this was from Vinly...

Freeze was produced by Athur Baker, Jellybean and John Robbie, minus Jellybean add Bamabatta u have the production team of "Planet Rock" among "Perfect Beat" ect...

X Posed, is not the name of "Point Of No Return's" 3 Fine Ladies...it's Expose...who also brought the equally as catchy "Come Go With Me" and "Let Me Be the One"....
