The classic French house duo Cassius just finished their “Cassius Play” mix for Nike+ (you might remember the much talked about LCD Soundsystem “45:33″ mix in the same series, the idea is to make a continous track that would suit runners ie music fitting for a 7 min warm up, 30 min run and 7 min cool down). We here at Discobelle received a promo package with a video and two excerpts from the mix.

This is the new Jonas Game single “Fish And Shark” that’s released by Sincerely Yours today. Heartfelt pop music the way it’s done in Sweden. Here’s the story:

“I rented a string quartet and professional musicians, went into a fancy studio contrary to my ideals. Somehow lost myself along the way, sort of like Fleetwood Mac in the 90’s. The bill ended at more than 30 000 SEK, oh the anxiety but as a gentleman i decided to give the track away for free, maybe just to further disappoint studio owners and musicians who were promised the profit. We just posted a killer mix from Drop The Lime and now we can hit you with the brand new track “I Love NY”. I’m gonna wrap up today with a creepy remix of The Raveonettes “Aly Walk With Me.” I did a show with these guys in Iowa and they can agree it’s almost as bad as Delaware.

It’s been a few weeks since Bristolian electro/house producer Plimsouls graced the pages of Discobelle. But now he’s back with a remix of the Mystery Jets single “Two Doors Down”. The Erol Alkan produced band made a wise decision when they gave remixing duties to Plimsouls, pure electro goodness and this will without a doubt make the dancefloor lose it.

Moby just released his new record “Last Night”, he just did a little something with Imeem where he recorded intros to each track on the record and tells us a more how they came together. You also get a chance to listen to the whole record. We love this kind of stuff. Robyn made one before and this kind of extra material is great.
