Metronomy – Heartbreaker (Diskjokke remix)
Norwegian nudisco producer and all around friendly guy Joachim Dyrdahl AKA Diskjokke remixes the newest single “Heartbreaker” (will be released September 1st) from UK popdance outfit Metronomy. While the original sounds a little something like this: “From its hallmark opening bassline, to the synth-heavy powerchords of the whistle-along chorus, there’s no straying from the fact that Metronomy’s future single ‘Heartbreaker’ is catchy as hell. It’s an electronic ode to male heartbreak that’ll both cut you to the quick and have you dancing all the way to the therapist’s chair.” Diskjokke instead stretches it out, slows it down, adds some quirky sounds and pitty patter synthlines to make it less pop and more disco, this will have us dancing away into the sunset.

Amazing remix making perfect use of delay & enough accoustic instrumentation so to be reminescent of Lindstrom’s (another Scan) ‘NouveauDisco’ production
