Lykke Li – Little Bit (Loving Hand remix) + Nike party

The fine people at Sneak Attack Media gave us this late last night and since we love Lykke Li there was no question that we had to post this. Loving Hand is Tim Goldsworthy from the DFA gang and here’s his take on the Lykke track “Little Bit”. The original is a brilliant piece of pop heaven but the remix sees “Little Bit” stretched out into an over 9 minute long spaced out disco jam. It sounds like something we could dance to at 8 AM on the beach after a long and partyfilled night.

PS. Besides all the hoopla surrounding 080808 in Stockholm tonight, our friends in Top Billin and Russian Spring Break are playing the big Nike party at Kägelbanan tonight, so if you’re around you should go since it will probably be spectacular. The lodown after the jump:

“Nike introduces Nike Sportswear in the year Beijing opens its doors to the world’s greatest athletes on 080808. Nike Sportswear takes Nike’s 36-year sports history and creates new exciting apparel and footwear blending the past with design innovations from the future. As part of the Nike Sportswear celebration, Nike Sportswear selected 8 particular locations in 8 european cities who have hosted past editions of the games. The space in Stockholm, called 1912, will be housed within SneakersnStuff. The other cities where you will find these exclusive retail spaces are London, Paris, Barcelona, Rome, Berlin, Moscow and Amsterdam.

The spaces will stock only the best Nike Sportswear apparel, accessories and footwear exclusively,for two months only. Nike has commissioned a number of Swedish creatives to interpret iconic products from Nike’s past. Patrik Söderstam, Hanna Wieslander, Marguerite Seger, Fredrik Skogkvist, Jonas Wiehager and Olle Hemmendorff were all asked to reinterprete five classic products – The Dunk, The Air Max 90, The Windrunner, AW77 Hoody and the Air Force 1 – their artworks will be displayed in the 1912 space over the two months.
