FADER TV: Major Lazer (Live at the Levi’s®/FADER Fort)

Everybody who didn’t make it out to SXSW this year really missed out on something amazing. Lucky for you, the kind people over at The Fader rented a camcorder and shot their own small home videos. Here is one with what might be the most anticipated supergroup in blog history. Diplo and Switch is teaming up to form Major Lazer. As Paul Devro put it: “baby crying over autotune is sooo next level”.

Remember: Guns don’t kill people, LAZERS do!!!!

I’m a HUUUGE fan of Diplo / anything Mad Decent and I gotta say when I heard the Andy Milonakis song I wasn’t that impressed. However, all the shit from this video sounded really fuckin sick!

Ha and yeah, that Devro quote is great.

first song: dirty dutch producer! second song: german minimal producer! vocals: some jamaican dancehall guys mixed over it! is it innovative to find out that other parts of the world are more innovative than yourself and then try to make the world believe that you are the most innovative of them all by trying to make it look as if it´s your music? to be honest: i don´t think so, diplo!
