Apart from all the blogging, we DJ quite a lot. We play the same sort of music that we post, so if you like the blog – you’re going to have a good time on our dancefloor as well. Last One Awake

The third release on Canadian label Acephale Records is a collaboration with the Swedes in Sincerely Yours (The Tough Alliance, Air France) to co-release Memory Cassette/Weird Tapes’ first record – “Call & Response”. It’s a four track EP on 7″ white vinyl and as always it’s limited to 500 copies (available as presale). To promote the release the labels asked a few of their favourite people to do some remixes, all of which will be released through blogs.

Here’s the first of these remixes courtesy of Vancouver turned Londoner Friend and he gives us a lovely summer tune.
