Addeboy vs. Cliff x Elvine Creators Inn

Gothenburg based clothing label Elvine together with Scandic Malmen Hotel in Stockholm launched a pretty spectacular concept back in August when they opened up the hotel concept Creators Inn by Elvine. One of the rooms of the hotel was redesigned and transformed into the first “hotel-in-hotel” concept in the world. For six weeks now the room has been available for free for visiting creative types. Among the guests you can find Alexander Robotnick, artist Christopher Green and design duo Jojo & Malou. Our friends in Northern Sweden power house production team Addeboy vs. Cliff also stayed in the room and while staying there they took the opportunity to record their new mixtape which you can check out right here at Discobelle.

Jackpot is a trio from Stockholm and with the release of their italodisco/early house infused “Ragazza” EP (on Service/Permanent Vacation) they quickly garnered quite a buzz. They are the latest ones to release an EP for the Rvng of the Nrds 12″ series on NYC label RVNG. The track “Brief Encounter” that we got for you is a funky disco gem with a dancey string arrangement and handclaps aplenty all while a buzzing rhytm keeps you locked to the dancefloor.

“This mix is suppose to represent a “Summer Twilight in Outer Space” vibe. I tried to pick these tracks carefully to allow the listener to understand the vibe I tried to create. While doing so, I had a lot of fun. I hope that the listener(s) will too! Well, that’s what I am hoping, at least.”

Poirier is from Montreal and is considered one of the top beatmakers and one of the most pioneering producer in Canada. He had quite the success with his previous clubnight, the legendary Bounce Le Gros party. The first edition of Karnival will take place on October 3rd at Club Soda in Montreal, as part of Pop Montreal, with special guests: Paul Devro and Dub Boy.
