The big single “I Love London” from Crystal Fighters was just released on Kitsuné and it features a plethora of remixes. Thanks to Press Gang, we just received the latest one courtesy of Irish producer and rising star Lorcan Mak who touches up on the tropical elements and brings in some big drops to make this a dancefloor bomb.

Nothing like waking up on a monday morning only to find some fresh quality tunes in your inbox. Riot Kid is only 18 but already an experienced player in the French music scene, he is part of the new breed of young producers/djs in France who are all pushing the bass sound coming out of London and also mixing it up with various influences such as traditional African, Indian and Middle Eastern music. Today sees him drop his “Calcutta 1946” EP on DubNoirMusic and we got a teaser of the EP + a minimix that’s bound to inspire some shopping. Trust us, you’ll be hearing lots more from Riot Kid in the future.

Finally here and just in time for the darkest season, MISF*TS Mixtape #004 includes kaleidoscopic flashbacks to the heady days of summer and a glimpse into the trials and tribulations of being a serious party guy. Again, it’s a genre-bending amalgamation of many of our recent hits and favourites and some of the very latest sounds, with the odd obscurity thrown in. No edits/blends this time, instead we’re proud to present our first own MISF*TS
remix, co-produced with an artist/producer called Kutikula: “The Colours” by Zebra and Snake, out now digitally and as a 7″, which is also the very first release on our new label MISF*TSOUNDS. Enjoy!

French producer Qoso is just about to release his debut EP “Expo” (will drop on monday) on the Fluo Kids associated imprint Fool House (a label that in its short history has given us nothing but quality releases). Qoso is described by the label as their “wild yet clean cut child” and on the EP he gives us his own brand of tropical techno which the track “Jurassic Park” is a prime example of.
