Assassin

Just in time for the Australian summer, French robot loving producer Golden Bug gives us his long awaited “Assassin” EP (released on Bang Gang 12 Inches). After his debut album “Hot Robot” on Gomma last year and remixes for the likes of Delphic, GLOVES, Adam Freeland, Rodion and Lost Valentinos, Golden Bug now gives us an EP filled to the brink with slices of feel good disco house. Our pick of the bunch is the tribaldiscoish track “Last Dance In Tokyo”.

Ghosts Of Venice

Ghosts Of Venice is the new project from Britsh producer/dj Lee Dunn (who also works with the noisy dudes in Youth Attack!). His new musical direction takes a step away from electro darkside into more of a filter/French/disco house vein. He remixed the new Shakira single “She Wolf” and gives it a filter house treatment that will slay any dancefloor.

Jenny Wilson – Pass Me The Salt (Front Of House remix)

Between visits to New York (where she recently played at the CMJ festival and a Fader-party), Paris and Copenhagen, Jenny Wilson took the time to shake up some remixes for new single “Pass Me The Salt” which is featured on her recent jaw dropping album “Hardships”. The single will be out January 13th as a 12″ and digital maxi with remixes. The track features the fabolous Mapei who drops in for some cooler than thou rapping. This is the first remix to emerge, it comes from Stockholm duo Front Of House and is one funky affair.

We Make It Good volume 11: Salem

Salem with the eleventh and latest edition of the fantastic We Make It Good mix series.

Pink socks, a dirty mattress, wallpaper peeling off the walls, empty cough syrup bottles, and soiled wall to wall carpeting all come to mind after repeated listens to this new Salem mix. It’s either the perfect accompaniment to the fall/winter blues or soundtrack to scrawling your name on your bedroom wall in blood, it’s up to you.
