Chilly Gonzales – Pianist Envy

Chilly Gonzales gives us a fresh new mixtape, “Pianist Envy” is made up of piano remixes of several hip hop and dance favorites, including tracks by Beyonce and Daft Punk! This first-ever “piano mixtape” offers a unique and masterful blend of Chilly’s piano and orchestral sounds with hip hop beats and electro. Among the artists featured on the mixtape we find 50 Cent, Daft Punk, Busta Rhymes, Claude Von Stroke, Clipse and Kelly Clarkson.

United Groove (Sound Pellegrino Thermal Team VIP Dub)

You all know L-Vis 1990 and his bomb of a track “United Groove” which has slain dancefloors across the globe since its release last year. Sound Pellegrino Thermal Team (AKA label founders Teki Latex and DJ Orgasmic) made a remix of the track for the second part of the remix EP which was just released by Mad Decent. Their remix has been a staple in our dj sets for some time now, the sinister synth action and Tekis urging chant has stirred a frenzy among plenty of crowds. Now, Teki and partner crime Orgasmic hands us an excellent VIP dub version of the track.

“Basically it’s a stripped down version of our remix. My monologue from the beginning is still here but Orgasmic got rid of the synth line, replacing it with uplifting chant/stabs and percussive madness.”

UNKLE – Natural Selection

London based UNKLE announces the release of their fourth-proper full-length record “Where Did The Night Fall” on their own label Surrender All on May 11th. The album will feature fourteen tracks recorded over the last year at various locations around the world, including the band’s Surrender Sounds studio in London, Ibiza, Melbourne and Los Angeles. To celebrate the release of “Where Did The Night Fall” UNKLE is offering the new track, “Natural Selection” (which features The Black Angels).

L.A tall boy dj Them Jeans keeps on giving us heat, he’s just about to release his “Beef/Flying Rats EP” on Crossfaded Bacon and that’s where this track is taken from. “Flying Rats” is a Middle Eastern/Sufi inspired banger that will get alot of people sweaty in many a club nights to come.
