Mishka Presents: Keep Watch Vol. 17 – AC Slater

Mishka are going at it with the 17th edition of their Keep Watch Mix Series.

“This month’s Keep Watch Mix comes courtesy of our hometown bass warrior AC Slater of the infamous Trouble & Bass crew. These pounding 33 minutes drive you through his upcoming release peppered with a host of acapellas to intensify the experience, which starts out with the Drop The Lime remix of Slater’s upcoming single “Take You Higher”. It then progresses to a more bass-heavy and dubstep sound provided by the help of label mates Ninjasonik and Klash77. Wrapping it up with a 3am “Eternal” vibe that comes courtesy of Luna C – the old school rave producer of 92 Eternal’s “The Feeling”.”

We got an e-mail from Wooles over in Rio de Janeiro with a new mixtape from the Apavoramento Sound System.

“Wooles is one of the Rio pioneers of contemporary funk crossover, has been practicing the mixture of funk with breakbeats since 1999. Creator of the infamous Apavoramento Sound System, wich combine music, crazy parties, videos, documentaries and bass science, has played as a live PA in many Brazilian music and film festivals and has invaded north cities. Only works with frequencies below 7Hz causing symptoms of paranoia, dilated pupils, booty shaking and elicit consumption.”

Dream Catcher

Unicorn Kid is a new kid on the block hailing from Scotland. He produces instrumental 8-bit stuff and has already garnered the attention of some of top dj’s (Zane Lowe, Rob Da Bank and Vic Galloway) over at BBC Radio. His debut track for Ministry Of Sound is called “Dream Catcher” and you can grab it below.

MaliBoom Boom & Dazed Digital

Alot of stuff happening here at Discobelle HQ at the moment besides keeping busy with the blog and the label.

ADD SUV

Seems like Uffie is returning with some new tracks, first taste of the upcoming album “Sex, Dreams & Denim Jeans” is the just leaked track “ADD SUV” (production duties by Mirwais) that features a guest appearance in the form of the one and only Pharrell Williams who spits a couple of lines.
