Our friends over at Palms Out just dropped this bomb of a release on us with the Marcus Price & Carli EP entitled “Mat Bira Kvinnor Weed” (which is Swedish for “Food Beer Women Weed”).

The title track can only be described as being a: “bouncy ride for your backside – sub bass booming, skittering whistles, booty bumps and scratched robot voices for days. We already fed you the Kingdom remix (other remixers include Dubbel Dutch and Crazy Pays) of said track a few months ago but we’ll give you new chance to grab it below. On the B-side we find “Var E Näääken” (which translated mean “Where is Näääken?”, Näääken being their formerly incarcerated home boy) which delves even deeper into bass cabinets destruction. Huge 808s, persistent snares, and shuffling shakers make for a huge party starter. (Remixers for the b-side are Bok Bok, Girl U.N.I.T and Norrit)

NYC producer Proper Villians just slipped this new EP into the hands of hard hitting Berlin/NYC label Nightshifters. The title track “Big Top” is described as: “…a rolling bass-house masterpiece with massive undulating bass under horn stabs and wait -is that Ozzy?” and we can only concur.

Turned On Vol. 1 (compiled by Neoteric) hit Beatport today with a bang! 17 tracks from some of the best new artists out there right now collected on one wicked compilation. With talent like Crookers, Brodinski, Radioclit, Nadastrom, Mikix The Cat, Schlachthofbronx, Savage Skulls and many many more we just can’t go wrong. Neoteric put together one of the best compilation we have seen in a long time. We are really proud of doing this with him.

We also want to give something back to all you loyal readers when we release a monster like this. So we got two remixes of one of the tracks on the compilation. It’s Samo Sound Boy and upcoming Discobelle Records artist LOL Boys who have put their touch to the mega bang0r “Cannibalistic” by Expendable Youth.

The Phantom – Mix for Smuts and Discobelle

Last week we posted about this new interesting funky compilation that Top Billin is releasing and posted a mix from the talanted DJ Phantom. Tomorrow the same guy packs his recordbag and takes the dangerous journey across the Baltic sea to play the friendliest party in Malmötown. More info about the season finale of Smuts on facebook.

The Phantom instantly recorded a mix to make us happy and in a funky spirit and even you if you can’t attend the event the mix is a killer perfectly suited for your local bar, private villa or classy office. It gives you an even better insight to this polish guys influences and taste.

Frenzy 2 Rave Edition

“So it’s finally arrived, the follow up to The Frenzy! I’m really excited that I get to finally share this with everyone, it feels like this mix has been through hell and back… I started it almost a year ago and would work on it periodically for a few months here and there. When it was finally getting close to done, I found myself unhappy with a few chunks and went into more editing. By the time I finished editing and was happy with it, it for some reason would not render off my computer. It was just stuck there and I couldn’t find the corrupt files within this mayhem of waves for the life of me. I let it sit for another few months until I realized how much room it was actually taking up on my studio computer. So I said, that’s it, I either render or it, or delete it. With that, I gave it some patience/TLC and within a few days, BOOYA! I FINALLY got it!

Hope you guys enjoy it!”
