VICE has selected 6 filmmakers from Denmark and Sweden for a chance for a paid internship at their VBS headquarters in NYC.

Each filmmaker will complete 6 “Creative Challenges” issued by professionals in different fields of the arts. These are videos with a specific theme or context.

This next challenge is with Frej Larsson from Slagsmålsklubben and Maskinen. Maskinen got a new mixtape banger coming out featuring Promoe and the six filmmakers are gonna make the video. The song is about things that end. So they have to make something end and in a big way!

Femme En Fourrure – Dirty Blonde

One day late but now it’s finally here. The third release on Discobelle Records comes from Finland’s finest duo Juuso and Bianca aka Femme En Fourrure. With Juuso’s wonderful beats and Bianca’s sensual voice they are on to something big. We loved their track “Plump Biscuit” and now they managed to outdo that track with “Dirty Blonde”.

But it wouldn’t be a Discobelle Records release without some killer remixes. Drop the Lime reinvents himself and takes this remix to a whole different place then we are used to, and it might just be some of his best work so far. Malente&Dex show us with their balkan influenced remix that they are one of the hottest things in Germany right now. MadKids from Montreal are the new kids on the block but have proven themselves that they are to be reckon with and this remix is no exception from that.

Wow, first Rihanna gets a new beat from a bass guy from Stockholm and now we step it up with a remix of Lykke Li from yet another bass guy from Stockholm. Stockholm, Sweden and Discobelle is def. on track right now.

This version of Lykke Lis “Little Bit” was released on very limited vinyl way back. It’s actually done under the Stay Gold but since both Stay Gold and Savage Skulls consists of the same two people and the sound of the remix is more in line with a Savage Skulls productions they renamed it. It features some 90″s ravestabs and a funky dancebeat. Me like.

Here is an electro goes dubstep remix of “Bed Of Needles” made by the Belgian crew Addicted Kru Sound and the producer Syndaesia. Earlier this year they were part of the “Wu Tang meets the indie culture” project and released a track on the “Enter the Dubstep” compilation. “Bed Of Needles” is the first track from Steed Lords EP “Heart II Heart” that was released earlier this spring. Its been available as a stream before but here is the hi-q download. Steed Lord is constantly touring, when the volcanos of Iceland gives them their blessings and made a huge show on SXSW a couple of weeks back.
