Synchronize

Discodeine is a project from Parisian producers Pilooski and Pentile. The duo found eachother through their love of sci-fi movies and have been churning out killer remixes for the likes of Metronomy, WhoMadeWho, Bot’ox, Photonz and Yelle ever since. They’re in the midst of writing and recording their debut album which should be dropping in 2011. “Synchronize” is the first single from the forthcoming album, it features British vocalist Jarvis Cocker (of The Pulp fame) and it’s a poppy discoish tune that will make waves across dancefloors everywhere.

Mzo Bullet

South African/Pretoria kwaito producer Cassablanca just released his seductive debut single “Mzo Bullet” on New State Music, the track has been eagerly anticipated since it was rinsed by DJ Mujava on his “Township Funk” mix album and has alo been featured heavily on Benji B’s BBC Radio 1 show. UK bass destroyers in garage duo Hot City have contributed a remix for the b-side and it’s a monster.

Drop The Lime’s upcoming single “Hot As Hell” (to be released in January 2011) truly lives up to is name, this is some hot bassfilled club music mixed up with rockabilly for you to feast your ears on. Nouveau Yorican AKA Dutch superstar producer/dj Laidback Luke and NYC production/dj genius Gina Turner gives the track a techhousey remix treatment and we’re left dancing in their dust.

“Recently 77Klash & Krames performed at a smoked out snowboard event in Vermont, only to find the christmas spirit of Jacob Marley. There they were inspired to make “Dubstep Dickens,” a mix highlighting samples from Richard William’s Oscar-winning animated interpretation of Charles Dickens “A Christmas Carol.” Have a “dubby” christmas!”
